How do I search for an item?
There are two methods for performing a search on PoundAd:

Quicksearch: Quicksearch allows you to enter a keyword, choose the division of PoundAd that you want to search within and select the location. This is the fastest way to search PoundAd's classified ads, but not the most precise.

Advanced Search: By entering any of the main divisions of PoundAd you are provided with a range of detailed search criteria. This detailed search criteria enables you to be more accurate with your search, and find items that are relevant to you.

Why can’t I find what I am looking for?
If you can’t find what you are looking for then try modifying your search criteria. You can do this by being less specific about the item that you are looking for, or by changing or removing any keyword(s) that you may be using.

Is registration free?
Registration is free.

Do I need to register to place an advert?
Yes, to place a classified ad you first need to register.

Can I change my details once I am registered?
Yes, you can update all of your details at any time after you have registered.

Are all of my personal details displayed in my classified ads?
You can decide how many or how few of your personal details are displayed in each classified ad.

How do I place a classified ad?
Once you have registered with PoundAd, you are ready to start placing classified ads on our site. When you first log into your account you will be presented with the welcome page from which you are presented with a number of options. Click on the "Advert Add" button and follow the instructions to place your advert.

How much does it cost to place classified ads?
Classified ads are currently free of charge.

How long does my classified ad stay on the site for?
You can choose the period you want to advertise for.

Can I edit my classified ad once it is place?
Yes you can. Simply log in to your account.

Can I remove a classified ad?
Yes you can. Simply log in to your account, click on "All My Adverts", select the classified ad you want to remove, go to the bottom of the page and click on "Delete Advert".

Refunds?
Once you have purchased your classified ad we do not accept refunds, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
